2024 Entries open in April

The Historic Folsom Hometown Parade is a hit with residents and surrounding communities. Historic Folsom is the perfect backdrop to celebrate what makes our community special. This hugely successful and highly supported event will be held June 29, 2024.

Planning is underway by residents and local business owners. The planning committee will open entries in April 2024. We are looking for colorful, fun and engaging floats put together by enthusiastic groups, organizations, neighborhoods and local businesses.

Past entries included Folsom City Council members, zoo docents, Folsom Police and Folsom Fire, Old West Legends, local businesses, dance crews and many more.

The parade welcomes participation from all, with a limit of 25 individuals per group marching in the procession.  However, groups are free to have additional members supporting them from the sidelines.

Maximum Height is 12 Feet - this is for safety!  There are hanging lights across Sutter Street.

Now is the time to start planning and deciding if your group would like to have a presence in this beloved community tradition.
